	"I was stationed @ Webb from November 1962 until November 1965 when I left for Biggs AFB. I was assigned to the 331st Fighter Interceptor Squadron. I can't believe there Is only one other person In the guest book from the 331st. I checked all the pictures of the aircraft at Hangar 25 and didn't see one F-102 or F-104. What's Up With That? I had good times at Webb and In Big Spring. My best friend at the time, Jerry Mitchell, and I had a lot of fun together In town, chasing the grils and going from drive-In to drive-In. I ended up marrying a girl from Big Spring but when I got out of the Air Force we came to California (where I'm from) and I guess the culture shock got her and she went back home, she didn't like Ca. Other than that, just good memories. "

	"I was in Class 52G in the summer of '52. My instructor was R L Flynn. I have nothing but fond memories of Webb AFB. It some of the formative years of my life. On to Korea after Webb where I was with 49th FB WG. Then to Gt Falls, Montana.WebbAFB was very instrumental in my life. I have not been back since then, but plan to soon."

	"Was a civil service employee at Webb during the '60s and 70's. Worked in 2050th Comm Sq and Transportation Division. I still remember just the greatest group of people in the world to work with. Names that come to mind in communications sq. were Sgts Moede; Workman; Davis, Cloud, Plummer. Maj Devlin; Capt Holder. And the FAA Air Traffic Rep, Richard Bortner. And across the hall from my desk in Flight Facilities was Colonel Vaugh Martin, Flying Safety Officer. Folks in Transportation - Capt Boyanton, Sgt Sweigart. I was still there when Webb closed, working in Data Automation (Capt Damron). My memories of Webb have continued to be some of the happiest that I have. Big Spring has not been quite the same since Webb's closure. If anyone out there knows the whereabouts of any of these folks, I would sure like to hear. "

	"Hi; I have been reading your guestbook. I was stationed at Webb from 19 November 1952----7 December 1955. I was assigned to Post Dock most of that time. I would be interested in locating 2 of the men I worked with. They are A1/c Donald Schutt and S/sgt John Bender. Don was from Missouri and John was from Louisiana. 	"Very interesting as I went through Bomardier school in Big Springs and graduated as a 2nd. Lt. Jan. 1944. We were shot down on a mission to bomb a ball bearing facility in Budapest. I was a POW for 9 months. My wife stayed with a Mr and Mrs Stiff. As I remember Mr. Stiff was connected with the power co, their son was connected with the radio station. Very fond memories of Big Springs. "

	"I was in class 74-04. It was quite an experience for a young man from the New York metropolitan area. Went on the fly C-130's at Clark. I hope to visit the museum one of these days. Great memories and challenging experiences."

	"I was stationed at Webb from Jan. 62 to Dec. 63 as a cook in the officers dining hall. I have a ton of wonderful memories of Big Spring and Webb. I kept up with my good friend from Webb, Wayne (Mac) McGahee for many years until he passed away I believe it was in 2001. The one person I often wonder what happened to is Lt. Tom Bridges I believe he graduated in a 1963 class."

	"My father, Larry Gaskin, went through UPT around 70-71. Class 72-02B. I was only 5 while there, but I remember quite a bit. It was there that I fell in love with the smell of JP-4! I remember watching sunset takeoffs, and remember blue afterburners on the T-38s. "

	"I was not associated with Webb, however as a child in Big Spring, I always enjoyed the grandeur of jets flying above the city. Many days I recall wishing I could be in one of those fabulous machines and how I admired those who were. It was the heroic folks like the representatives of Webb Air Base that have allowed me and so many others the freedom that we posses today. Thanks to you all for your service and valor and thanks to the people of Hangar 25 that have dedicated so much time to preserve a monument of our historical past. "

	"I was stationed at Webb AFB early 1954 to March of 1957. While there our first child was born at the base hospital in April '55. I was a flight line mechanic on T33's, then was night assistant flight chief the latter part of my time there. We are planning a trip there this July. Looking forward to seeing the Hangar 25 Air Museum. We have really enjoyed looking at the web sight. Brings back a lot of good memories."
